On a visit to the Alexandria to Matrouh road at Km 21, the Governor of Alexandria ordered the carriageway widened, concrete barriers put up and an orderly U-turn built in front of the Km 21 stand.
He also set up a committee of the district, the traffic police, utilities and roads to follow the work.
